Holland Trip: Delft Bout Tour

Assalamualaikum and Hi,

Seperti di mention dalam entry sebelum ni. Saya nak habiskan draft #HollandTrip2014.

Ni kisah masa kami duduk dekat Delft. Apartment yg kami duduk tu under Bridges House Hotel. Untuk Apartment dia, lokasi dia dekat Koomstraat. Which is, betul2 depan canal paling besar di Delft. Dekat canal ni jugak ada the only Boat Tour yang available di Delft. Setiap hari, keluar apartment, nampak boats meluncuri canal ni. Kadang-kadang, I lepak dengan anak-anak sambil makan donut and lambai-lambai dekat penumpang yang ada dalam boat. They were very excited tengok orang naik bot. I dengan husband dah janji akan bawa dorang naik boat ni one sweet day.

Impian dorang nak naik boat ni pun tercapai bila my friend, Hanisah flew all they way from Manchester to visit my family. The last day masa Hanisah ada kat Delft, kitaorg naik boat ni. I dah booked the schedule one week earlier. It was 7euro per adult. Kids below 4 years old are FOC.

Well, generally, the tour was boring! Nasib baik lah driver boat tu quite funny. Setiap kali dia explain apa-apa dia akan cuba selitkan jokes. At least takde la historical sangat.
For first timer and tourist like us, it is quite ok la to join this kind of boat tour.
Sebenarnya, kami pusing-pusing canal sekitar Delft, sambil tu ada audio guide dari driver boat menerangkan pasal historical value each of the buildings/houses in along the canals.

All of us in front of our boat. Imani was sleeping all the way the boat tour.
Ilyaas was yawning and playing with our camera. Gambar2 ni pun semuanya from camera Hanisah.
The boat moves very slow. Sangat lah boring. Ilyaas was expecting this boat is a speedy boat. baru dia excited.

My husband, my son and my ex-bedmate with minah Holland tak dikenal

My self and Imani yang nyenyak tidur..

View on the boat.

I dah tak ingat why we snapped this picture.
Mesti driver boat tengah story about these buildings.
Kalau zaman dulu, dekat Holland ni, lagi kecik tingkap (window) lagi tinggi tax yang perlu dibayar.
Bermaksud, makin kecik tingkap, makin banyak window dia, and makin kaya sesebuah keluarga tu.

Old Church of Delft

The smallest house in Delft yang warna pink tu.
Originally it belongs to The Prince William of Oranje.. Sebab tu ada dua pintu. sebab satu pintu untuk laluan orang biasa, the other one is for the Prince.
Ni zaman istana kena serang ke apa tak ingat.

The only house with balcony in Delft

Delft old prison
Scary enough.
Now the turned this prison into a hotel. Delft Canal Hotel

Towards the end of our trip, all of us sang a birthday song to Hanisah.
Awal2 lagi I dah kaw tim dengan driver boat ni untuk nyanyikan birthday song coz it was Hanisah's birthday.

After the boat tour, kitaorg meet up dengan family Kak Zura and Nik. Nik is our (Hanisah and me) friend's brother who is furthering his PhD in TU Delft..

itu ajerla cerita naik boat..
boring.
tp ok la...
what matter was we have done that...=)
